Who we are

This website is operated by EURO PRESTIGE & PERFORMANCE PTY LIMITED (ABN 85 692 747 069), trading as Euro Prestige and Performance (“we”, “us”). We are a mobile mechanical service operating in the Sydney region. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this site.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact or quote form, we collect the details you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, vehicle details and your message. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry and to arrange work.

Information collected automatically

Our web server records a log entry for each request: the page requested, the date and time, the response status, the referring page and your browser's user agent. Your IP address is truncated before it is written (the final part of an IPv4 address is discarded), so the logs do not record a full IP address. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and to understand aggregate site usage. They are automatically deleted after 14 days.

Cookies

By default this site runs analytics without cookies (Google Consent Mode set to denied). If you choose "Accept" on our cookie banner, Google Analytics then uses cookies to measure site usage in more detail, including returning visits, approximate demographics and interests, and advertising measurement; you can change your choice anytime via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. The site sets no other cookies of its own. The embedded Google Map described below may set cookies controlled by Google.

Third parties

Web3Forms (contact form)

Our contact form is delivered to us through Web3Forms. When you submit the form, the information you entered is transmitted to and processed by Web3Forms in order to email it to us. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage: pages viewed, approximate region, and how visitors found us. Until you accept cookies it runs with Google Consent Mode set to denied, so it sets no cookies and stores no identifiers on your device and we receive only anonymous, aggregate statistics. If you accept cookies via our banner, it also measures returning visits, approximate demographics and interests, and supports advertising measurement (Google Signals). You can withdraw consent anytime via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. See Google's privacy policy.

Visit statistics (Umami)

We also count visits with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that Belivanis Information Systems hosts for us on its own servers in Australia. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address, and records only anonymous, aggregate information: pages viewed, the referring website, and your general browser, device type and country. It cannot identify you.

Website chat assistant

Our website has an AI chat assistant, Frank, provided and hosted for us by Belivanis Information Systems. It is an automated assistant, not a person, and it can make mistakes; for anything urgent, call or text us. When you use it, the messages you type, and any name, phone number, email or vehicle details you choose to share, are:

sent to OpenAI in the United States to generate the replies. This is a disclosure of your information to an overseas recipient. OpenAI does not use information sent through its API to train its models by default. See OpenAI's privacy policy;
stored on our servers in Sydney so we can reply to your enquiry, and emailed to us if you leave contact details. Chat records are deleted after 12 months;
kept in your browser for the current visit only (session storage, not a cookie), so the conversation carries on as you move between pages. It is cleared when you close the tab.

Please do not share payment card details or other sensitive information in the chat.

Google Maps

Some pages embed a Google Map. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies, under Google's privacy policy. We do not control this.

Hosting

This site is hosted on infrastructure managed by Belivanis Information Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 33 691 353 198) on Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia. They act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes.

How we use and share your information

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, provide the services you ask for, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for marketing. We disclose it only to the service providers listed above, or where required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to service the enquiry and to meet record-keeping obligations. Server logs are deleted after 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email europrestigeandperformance@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, and the date it was last updated, always appear on this page.
